One day when the couple went to the market they left the mongoose as a guard for their baby, suddenly a snake took the chance to attack the infant when the mongoose killed the snake and saved the baby’s life. After some time, when the farmer’s wife came back she saw blood on the mongoose’s skin welcoming her, she thought that the animal killed her baby. In the anger she killed the mongoose. When she entered the house, she saw that the baby was absolutely fine and saw a dead snake near the baby. She realised her mistake and cried near the dead mongoose..
