Summary: Once again king Vikramaditya ran after Vetal and once he reached the tamarind tree he saw Vetal hanging in the same way .Once again , he put Vetal on his shoulders and started for the cremation ground. On the way , Vetal started with a new story.

There was a powerful sage living in a village. The sage had magical powers and he had travelled to many distant lands to learn new things and spread the words of divinity and dedication. The sage had several disciples and they loved listening to stories told by the Brahmin. With the stories, the disciples learnt so many new things in this world and even went on to have an idea regarding what is wrong and what is right in life.

One day the sage told the disciple a wonderful story . There were two villages. The people living in the first village very honest and hardworking .They help everyone and earned their living with hard work.

On the other hand, the people living in second village where very notorious. They where extremely dishonest and preferred earning money in the wrong way. The people living in this village with extremely lazy and they did not want to work in order to earn money for a living.
One day both the villages were destroyed when a fire broken out . All the people started running here and there and did not find a place to take a refuge in. During this time ,God appeared and decided that the people of the good village should be made to go everywhere. They would not get the scope to assemble at one place . On the other hand, God decided that the people of bad village should be made to live in one place with peace. They should not move around for shelter.

this is where we all stop this story and ask did the king “tell me why did God take such a decision. Why did he make life hard for the good people and easy for the bad residents? In case you know the answer please speak out or you would be punished.”

King Vikramaditya said “God did the right thing by not making the people of good village settle in one place .This way he wanted the goodnessto spread. On the other hand ,he did not want the people of the bad village to move here and there . For his he knew this would allow his honesty to spread and the world would be filled with corruption.”

Vetal was happy with. So once more,he felt the king and made his way back to the tamarind tree.
